I have two Gleisreporter deluxe boxes nicely working under this system with cc-Schnitte.
Yesterdeay I tried to configure the Gleisreporter tool with WINE Linux WIndows emulator.
The Program starts, but it can't recognize COM port. I tried everything and I only ask if someone else tried to make it works.

Do you have a second software to run (e.g. model train control) that accesses the same com port? Then it is busy.
You can't Rocrail and the Track Reporter tool Use at the same time.
