General:

The module is intended as an emergency brake for model trains. Usually something happens when you are far away from the control panel or the PC and can't get to the stop button and then it really rattles.

With this module you can set up any number of emergency stop buttons on your system, and it comes with two buttons for the function. In addition, there are also two connections for external keys, to which any number of them can also be connected in parallel.

Like all CdB-modules, this module can be plugged into the system bus at any point and of course you can also use more than one such module in the system structure.

Operation:

Operation is very simple. To stop the system, simply press the red stop button once. This causes the track processor to immediately power-off the tracks. The trains stop abruptly. The system can then be started again with the green GO button.

The LEDs on the module indicate the status of the system, i. e. the red LED lights up when the system is in "STOP" and vice versa.

Of course, all other devices in the system also receive these commands and it can also be restarted from any other point, for example a Mobile Station 2 or Central Station 2.

No settings are required for operation, the module only has to be connected to the system bus.

Connection:

The connections for the external buttons are designed as single spring-loaded terminals and can therefore be used without tools.
